As we are heading into the spring and summer season, and as I prepare for a Total Archery Challenge event (assuming we still have it with all the Covid-19 mess), I need to increase the number of arrows I am shooting on a daily/weekly basis. My setup is a 75lb Mathews Vertix at the current time. In order to shoot the quantity of arrows I want; I need to reduce the draw weight. I can shoot the 75lb draw fine, but for a limited number of arrows before fatigue starts to set in. Hopefully this How-To Swap Mods on a Mathews Vertix / VXR bow helps you with the switch.
I ordered a 60lb mod and in this how-to post I am going to walk you through swapping the mods. It is easy and you donโt need a bow press. If I can do it anyone can.
Tools Required: 5/64 Allen Head Wrench (My Cabelaโs branded Allen wrench combo had this size)
To swap out the mods on each cam you only need to remove two screws (silver in the picture).
Thatโs it, simple, easy and quick.I posted a video on YouTube of this mod switch if you prefer video direction.
